Located at 5200 ft and built using traditional Monpa tribal architectural techniques with stone and wood, the property offers all modern comforts. This property is a rare first in the area that displays authentic Arunachali architecture along with the strong cultural elements of the Monpa tribe. The Monpa are famous for their wood carving, Thangka painting, carpet making and weaving. The Lohit river flows right across the property and it also comes with an organic farm where the hosts grows fruit like plums, kiwi, oranges, etc. The host is also actively involved in community activities from organising renovation work to repair and paint local schools to servicing the elderly in their twilight years. The setting is idyllic and one arrives by walking over a bridge strewn with prayer flags. It is an ideal spot for those wishing to break their long journey to and from Tawang.

There are 4 cottages with 2 double rooms in each cottage. There’s a provision for a single extra bed in each room. The cottages come with attached baths and for the winter months, rooms will be equipped with heaters. There’s a private sitting area outside to sip coffee or tea with the most incredible views. The property is functional all year.
