a cottage amidst the pines
Set in a quaint village far away from the crowds of Jibhi and Tirthan valleys, the property comes with a natural stream and mini waterfall flowing right through it! A perfect place to stay for you to reconnect with Mother Earth through the gentle sounds of the steam and the wind whistling through the forest. The walls that are made of mud, rock and finished with dung plaster are in keeping with the ecological temperament of the hosts. Red mud paint coats the house which is furnished with the simplicity and charm of indigenous green plants. Evenings here are usually spent around a bonfire with soft music and the occasional barbecue.
The property offers 4 rooms that are tastefully maintained and come with attached bathrooms. Each room can accommodate an extra bed. A mini-library, goats, sheep and a resident rooster are here to keep you company!
The property offers homemade, organic and locally sourced vegetarian and non vegetarian meals prepared by the caretaker. The host also encourages experimental cooking, so every now and then, one can expect a surprise!
The property is ideal for families, couples, solo travelers, artists and people who like to take it easy, relax and experience authentic pahadi life!
